World’s premier leadership awards recognized Gordon’s leadership at MATRIXX Software
Silicon Valley, Calif., August 25, 2022 —MATRIXX Software, a global leader in 5G monetization solutions, today announced that CEO Glo Gordon has been honored with a Gold Stevie® Award for Executive of the Year in Telecommunications as part of the 19th Annual International Business Awards®. Gordon was recognized for strong leadership and the achievements she helped to spearhead for the company over the past two years, powering growth, increasing new customers, and driving a 30% increase in employee headcount around the world.

Under Gordon’s leadership, MATRIXX has announced new or expanded relationships with 15 customers — all leading telecom operators in their regions as well as DISH, the first company to build a 5G network in the public cloud. MATRIXX has also expanded partnerships with seven key solutions providers, many of whom lead the industry, including Google Cloud, AWS, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.
Gordon’s emphasis on building a strong corporate culture has also created impressive results. A recent internal survey found that 87% of MATRIXX Software employees feel valued at work, 91% feel safe voicing dissent, and 91% say MATRIXX lives its own values. Internal team support has led to an influx of employee referrals, resulting in more than 50% of new hires.
Stevie Award judges were impressed with Gordon’s ability to step in as CEO right before the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and show demonstrable results in a short amount of time. One judge stated, “Taking over a company that had battled its way in an industry dominated by giants, amidst a pandemic, is surely a bold action.
