MATRIXX Software Expands C-Suite With Three Key Promotions

Silicon Valley, Calif., January 13, 2022MATRIXX Software, the global leader in 5G monetization solutions, today announced three key promotions to its c-suite staff, including André Gunnberg as chief revenue officer, Mark Grech as chief legal counsel and Jennifer Kyriakakis, company founder and chief marketing officer. The expansion of the team comes on the heels of MATRIXX’s $50 million funding round in October 2021, and as MATRIXX invests into realizing its vision to be the world’s go-to monetization solution.

As a founder, Jennifer Kyriakakis possesses deep expertise in both telecoms and software, which has guided the company since its inception in 2009. Recognized for her impact on the industry, she has been a driving force helping telecom operators to better monetize their solutions in the digital economy. Jennifer’s long list of industry awards include the Women in IT Entrepreneur of the Year by Information Age, a Woman to Know in Mobile from Martech Executive and a Woman of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal. In addition to providing marketing leadership for the telecoms sector, she will play a crucial role in helping MATRIXX Software deliver its monetization solution into new and emerging verticals in her expanded role as chief marketing officer.

Most recently VP of sales for EMEA, André Gunnberg has been leveraging his 20+ years of experience in telecom and software to help MATRIXX customers transform into successful digital leaders. He has held several senior positions at major telecom companies, including VP sales of EMEA for Uptake, an industry leader in industrial artificial intelligence and IoT, EMEA operator of sales for Cisco IoT cloud business unit, and senior director of the global business unit of Oracle Communications. In his new role as chief revenue officer, André will provide direction and leadership across global sales and presales organizations, as well as alliances for go-to-market. Additionally, he will partner across all organizations to ensure that MATRIXX delivers on its brand pillar to create and retain raving fans.

A MATRIXX veteran, Mark Grech has been lending his extensive legal expertise in commercial law, corporate compliance and intellectual property to MATRIXX and its customers for over ten years. Previously, Mark served as the chief legal counsel for Oracle’s Communications global business unit and as associate general counsel for Portal Software. This promotion reflects the values that Mark has demonstrated since joining the company. More importantly, it anticipates the essential leadership and performance that he will be delivering as the company accelerates its already impressive growth.
