As VP of Sales for North America, Michael Blackburn leads a team of experienced account managers and pre-sales engineers, and is responsible for driving business opportunities for our Tier-1 service provider accounts while also opening up new markets across the region. Michael is laser-focused on helping our customers in their digital transformation journey by unlocking their true services and revenue potential.
With over 30 years of sales and sales leadership experience, in large part in the broader service provider space, Michael most recently served as Global Sales Director at Aspen Mesh (an incubator within F5). Prior to that, he worked at Gigamon, where he started as an initial hire in the creation of the SP team and ended as the VP of Service Provider Sales – Americas, building and leading a team of 18 that drove over $75 million in annual revenue. Michael started his career at Andersen Consulting after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
